A Forest man has been charged with manslaughter in a fatal Memorial Day attack at the Upper Deck Sports Bar in McComb.

Russell L. Creason, 35, surrendered to McComb police Wednesday afternoon and was charged in the beating death of Shaun Wallace, 25, of Bogue Chitto.

Police are looking for the gunman who opened fire on three men sitting in a parked car at an east McComb apartment complex on Avenue C early Saturday.

Pike County Sheriff’s Department Chief Investigator Greg Martin said deputies responded to an anonymous 911 call at 1131 Avenue C at 2:26 a.m.

Man slain in Burglund:Woman held in fatal stabbing

A McComb man died and a woman is in jail on murder charges after an argument escalated into a stabbing on Dyson Drive in Burglund around midnight Saturday, police said.

McComb police Detective Deska Varnado said Liston Terrell Brown, 29, was pronounced dead in the emergency room at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center.
