    McComb approves earlier curfew but county declines to do the same for now

    McComb officials on Tuesday adopted a 10 p.m. curfew for youths, but Pike County supervisors held off on following suit at their meeting Wednesday morning, with one saying the timing of the proposal carries political overtones.

The Southwest Mississippi C.C. baseball program will host an open tryout for unsigned seniors and transfer players at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 12.

The cost to participate is $60, and for more information, individuals can contact head coach Jack Edmonson at 601-276-3892 or jedmonson@smcc.edu.
