No major injuries in bus accident

The Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a three-vehicle accident that involved a school bus full of children Monday in Amite County.

The wreck resulted in two injuries, and none of the 54 children occupying the bus was injured, officials said.

A Gloster man is being held for questioning in the death of his wife that occurred this morning, and details remain scarce today in a suspicious Walthall County death reported Monday.

Amite County Sheriff Tim Wroten confirmed the death of Glorious Smith, age unknown, of Gloster, this morning but had few details.
