Bogue Chitto continues streak with 48-28 win

PASCAGOULA — The Bogue Chitto Bobcats extended their winning streak to eight in a row on Friday, defeating the Resurrection Catholic Eagles 48-28. The Bobcats are 8-0 overall, and 6-0 in Region 4 1-A.

As a team, Bogue Chitto rushed 46 times for 366 yards. The Eagles had just 48 yards on 18 carries.

Tylertown tromps West Marion to stay perfect in region

CENTREVILLE — The Centreville Tigers clinched the MAIS District 6-AA championship on Friday as they cruised to a 42-24 win over the Central Private Rebels.

The Tigers improved to 7-1 overall, 4-0 in district play.
