Lady Pioneers open tournament with 59-47 win

The Parklane Academy Lady Pioneers defeated the Centreville Academy Lady Tigers for the second time this season, 59-47, in their opening game of Parklane’s Thanksgiving tournament on Monday.

The Lady Pioneers maintained control of the lead throughout the game. Lana Moak led with a 13-point performance and Tootie Carter had 11 points.

Round 2 for Jaguars

After achieving their first playoff victory since 2010 last Friday, the North Pike Jaguars will host the Moss Point Tigers at 7 p.m. Friday in the second round of the MHSAA 4A Playoffs at John I. Hurst Stadium of Southwest Mississippi Community College.
