Former Southwest Mississippi Community College soccer player Irving Aitken has signed a scholarship to play for the Barons of Brewton-Parker College. Located in Mount Vernon, Ga., Brewton-Parker is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics and plays in the Southern States Athletic Conference.

Southwest Mississippi Community College women’s assistant basketball coach Britta Stephens and assistant baseball coach Justin Hay have been promoted to administrative roles.

Stephens has been named Assistant Director of Athletics for Compliance and Eligibility. Hay has been named Assistant Director of Athletics for Operations.
