When Ben, Wyatt and Jack Lampton hoisted an American flag on the pole outside St. Alphonsus Elementary School this week, they did it in honor of their father.
The flag, shipped to the Lampton boys by their father, 1-155th Capt. Mark Lampton, flew in Iraq, where Lampton and his fellow National Guardsmen are deployed.
