LIBERTY — Amite County supervisors on Sept. 25 accepted the lowest bid for replacement of timber bridges on Tangipahoa and Jim Thomas roads with box culverts.
Odee Smith Construction of Brookhaven submitted the lowest bid of $365,661. Other bids were $392,567 from Allen Coleman, $412,381 from Magco and $480,564 from Dozier LLC.
