McComb Mayor Zach Patterson discussed on Tuesday the sequence of events that led to the termination of former fire chief Vernell Felder.
Selectmen voted 5-1 to fire Felder on the grounds of violating civil service and city policy regulations “regarding conduct unbecoming to an employee of the city, either while on or off duty.”
