City schools adopt attendance policy

McComb school officials on Tuesday adopted an attendance policyfor grades 7-12 designed to give students an incentive to go toschool.

Beginning this fall, students will be exempt from semesterand final exams if they have no more than 12 unexcused absencesper year.
