Beacham Memorial Hospital was named the Business of the Year, and George “Lucky” Chaplain received the W.J. Simmons Citizen of the Year Award during ceremonies Thursday night.

The Magnolia/South Pike Area Chamber of Commerce sponsored the annual event held at the Eva Gordon Elementary School cafeteria and catered by Smithie Buie.
