When Nelsen Adelard moved to Pike County from his long-time West Coast home in 2006, he quickly latched on to the charm of small-town Mississippi, a 180-degree change from fast-moving Los Angeles.
He picked southwest Mississippi so that he could be closer to the music he loves — the blues.
