The North Pike High School slow pitch softball team won 5-4 at South Jones with one run in the top of the eighth inning.
Whitley Howell was the winning pitcher for the Lady Jaguars (10-4), giving up four runs and three walks.
All four of South Jones’ runs came in the bottom half of the fourth inning.
