ke High School slow pitch softball team clinched the district championship with a 12-2 victory at Lawrence County Tuesday night.
Whitley Howell threw all five innings for the Lady Jaguars (7-3, 3-1), giving up no earned runs and one walk.
Sarah Brock was 2-2 with two RBIs and two runs, Jami Spears was 1-2 with one run, Jordan Fitzgerald was 1-2 with two RBIs and two runs, Martin Rickera was 2-2 with two runs and one RBI, Baylee Bryant was 2-3 with one run and three RBIs, Skye James was 2-3 with one run, Linley Smith was 2-3 with one run and three RBIs and Howell was 1-3.
Fitzgerald, Rickera and Brock all homered.
