Concert, State of City set in Magnolia

Magnolia is gearing up for two major events — a concert and State of the City address on Saturday and a car show on Sept. 12.

McComb bluesman Castro “Mr. Sipp” Coleman will perform at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Town Square in downtown Magnolia. Afterward, Mayor Anthony Witherspoon will address residents.

Hosemann discusses schools’ oil lease debacle
