Powerful thunderstorms pounded the area Thursday, dropping hailstones across south Mississippi, leaving roads blocked with fallen trees and homes and businesses without power.
The storm fell a day shy of the third anniversary of a freak hailstorm that hit McComb, Summit and Brookhaven on March 18, 2013.
