2-year-old La. boy dies after running into road

ROSELAND, La. — A toddler was killed last week after he ran into a highway and was struck by a car after his family had been attending church.

Louisiana State Police Troop L spokesperson Dustin Dwight said Kaleb Dyson, 2, of Kentwood, La., died after being struck on Louisiana Highway 10.

Police searching for stolen cart, ATV

The McComb Police Department needs the public’s help locating a stolen golf cart and four-wheeler.

Detective Lt. Shannon Sullivan said an employee with River Park Apartments on Parklane Road told officers someone stole a 2008 Yamaha golf cart between Aug. 12 and 14.

Pike man wanted for aggravated assault

An argument between an estranged couple turned violent when a bullet was fired outside a Pike County home last Tuesday.

The sheriff’s department is looking for Cornelius Smith in connection with the shooting.
