The North Pike Jaguars closed the book on another successful tennis season with a gut-wrenching loss 4-3 against Pass Christian in the state playoffs Tuesday afternoon.
The Jaguars, who won the Region 7-4A championship last week, lost both singles points early in the match before eventually falling to the Pirates.
