Silver Alert issued for McComb man

The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation has issued a Silver Alert for 29-year-old Decoreius Lamonte Lee of McComb.
Lee is a 5-foot-10, 150-pound Black male.
He was last seen around 10 p.m. Wednesday wearing a camouflage tank top, blue gym shorts and white Nike shoes in the 2000 block of Joel Lang Road.

McComb shooting suspect arrested Monday on Avenue D

A man wanted in one of two shootings that left two women wounded in McComb over the weekend was taken into custody after fleeing officers and barricading himself inside a home in East McComb on Monday afternoon.

Robinson re-elected in Summit

Summit Mayor Percy Robinson won re-election in the town’s general election Tuesday, defeating first-term Councilman Chris Daniels on a wave of high voter turnout, particularly among young people.
Robinson received 251 votes (61%) to Daniels’ 159 (39%).

A man was wounded in a shooting Wednesday afternoon at a house in McComb.
Elijah Cromedy, 19, was shot around 3 p.m. at 523 Hillcrest Ave., Police Chief Juan Cloy said.
