Dr. Shane Hinckley named new Southwest golf head coach

Dr. Shane Hinckley has been named the new Southwest head golf coach. He replaces Jay O'Hern who recently resigned from the position.
In addition to his duties as head coach, Hinckley will still practice chiropractic as well.

Amite woman killed in 3-vehicle accident in Pike

An Amite County woman died in a three-vehicle accident that caused at least one other person to be airlifted to a hospital, Pike County Coroner Wally Jones said
Mary Barrett, 81, of Liberty, died on impact at the intersection of highways 24 and 48 at 1:41 p.m. Thursday afternoon, Jones said.
