Authorities are continuing their search for a Pike County man who was last seen more than a week ago.
Kyle Kelley, 60, was last seen around 3 p.m. June 2 near Highway 570 and West Topisaw Road North in northeastern Pike County, Sheriff Wally Jones said.
Kelley, who is 5-foot-7, weighs about 165 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes, was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and a white baseball cap.
Officials started concentrating their search in the Ruth area after Kelley’s car was located there.
“Somebody matching his description had come through that way,” Jones said.
Authorities enlisted the help of small aircraft for an aerial search on Friday, and officials with the Mississippi Office of Homeland Security were expected to provide a helicopter to perform a grid search on Tuesday, Jones said.
