The suspect in a shooting that wounded a man on Hillcrest Avenue in McComb last week has been apprehended in Ohio, police said.
Rishun Hans was wanted in connection with the shooting of Elijah Cromedy, 19, who was shot around 3 p.m. at 523 Hillcrest Ave. on June 5, Police Chief Juan Cloy said.
Cromedy went by ambulance to Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center and was transferred to the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.
Police haven’t announced charges, a motive or details about Hans’ extradition to Mississippi.
