An accident involving a school bus Wednesday in Lawrence County left three people injured and a Bassfield man facing charges.
State troopers responded to the crash on Highway 84 in Lawrence County at 7:41 a.m. Zachary Green, 29, was driving a westbound 1994 Nissan Altima that apparently struck a westbound school bus driven by Patrick Bridges, 40, of Silver Creek, Mississippi Highway Patrol spokesman Cpl. Craig James said.
Three passengers on the bus were transported to Lawrence County Hospital with minor injuries.
Green was arrested at the scene and charged with DUI, careless driving, and no proof of insurance.
