The Parklane girls varsity basketball team raced to its second-straight dominant win at the Lawrence County Tournament on Tuesday, beating Jefferson Davis County 67-34.
Junior guard Zoe Alford had a huge game, netting 20 points on 8-for-15 shooting while also assisting on four buckets.
She was complemented by freshman guard Carlye Carruth, who continued her hot start to the season with 17 points and eight rebounds.
Junior forward Anna Sawyer led the way with nine boards to go along with eight points, while senior guard Sydney Brewer rounded out the top scorers with seven points.
Freshman guard Lay Jackson led the Lady Pioneers with six assists.
Parklane started the tournament by taking down Mendenahll 54-28 on Monday.
The Lady Pioneers will next host Cathedral on Monday.
