Quail Hollow Golf Club in Fernwood is set to host the 39th-annual “Toys For Tots” golf tournament on Saturday, December 14th at 10 a.m.
The annual tournament was originally started by Ted Tullos in an effort to raise money to assist in the purchase of Christmas gifts and clothing for foster children in Pike and Lincoln Counties. All proceeds from the event go towards St. Jude’s efforts in the local area.
The tournament is a four-person scramble with a shotgun start at 10 a.m. The entry fee is $100 per player and includes green fees, a cart, a hot breakfast prior to start time and clubhouse refreshments. There are also prizes for players ranging from gift cards to golf merchandise.
Sponsors for the event include Tom’s Sheet Metal, McComb Market, Walmart, MarketMax and McComb Coca-Cola, the tournament’s primary sponsor.
If you are interested in signing up for the tournament or making a donation, Tullos can be contacted at (601) 248-3545.
