Public transportation is coming to Summit.
Mount Zion Economic Community Center officials announced Thursday that they will add eight bus stops in Summit to their existing service in McComb.
Mount Zion Community Transportation already has 18 bus stops in McComb.

Magnolia board votes to raise water bills

Magnolia aldermen voted to raise water rates Tuesday, although one board member dissented, saying the board should take another look at water meters because something is “drastically wrong.”
Aldermen voted 5-1 with Joe Cornacchione opposing, to raise the rate effective Sept.1.
