Threat prompts hospital lockdown

Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center went on lockdown Friday afternoon after receiving a threat, officials said.
A hospital spokesperson and a law enforcement official said a threat of a shooting prompted the lockdown, which reportedly ended by mid-afternoon.

Superintendent says no incidents, no weapons reported after Monday’s brawl at MHS

The McComb school superintendent said reports of a Wednesday high school lockdown and the discovery of a weapon nearby were wrong.
Social media was full of claims that a gun had been found in Hollywood Cemetery, which is across the street from McComb High School. A number of parents removed their children from school during the day.
