Gunshot detectors that are supposed to be able to pinpoint gunfire to within yards of its origin went live in McComb last week, city officials said.
McComb Mayor Quordiniah Lockley said Monday that the Shot Spotter equipment from SoundThinking has been placed on some high-resolution security cameras throughout the city.
