Murrell resigns from school board

Betsy Murrell, a member of the McComb school board for nearly 10 years, resigned this week. A person familiar with a letter she sent to Mayor Quordiniah Lockley said she blamed mistrust and hidden agendas among other school board members for her decision.

Roundabouts see setback but still expected to open in early 2026
