2 die in Pike, Lincoln wrecks

A Pike County man died in a fiery crash just after midnight Saturday near McComb, and a Brook-haven man died in a Monday morning collision on Interstate 55, authorities said.
Matthew Shropshire, 48, of Magnolia, was killed in a one-vehicle accident on Park Drive Extension near the intersection of Martin Road.

Catalytic converter thieves target center for kids with special needs

The decal on the side of the buses at Personal Pediatric Care in McComb says it’s is a center “for medically fragile children,” but that didn’t stop catalytic converter thieves from hitting two of the center’s three buses over the weekend, preventing some disabled children from receiving transportation to daily therapy.
