Wilkinson County bridge collapses, stranding 25

A Wilkinson County bridge collapsed Thursday under the weight of a passing truck, stranding about 25 people on the other side, Mississippi Emergency Management Agency officials said.
The Jackson Point Bridge in Woodville collapsed around 10:30 a.m.
No one was injured, officials said.

City: Burst pipes at homes, businesses cause of drop in pressure

The good news with McComb’s water situation is that city crews have found no major leaks in the system. The bad news is that means there are a lot of homes and businesses with burst pipes, the city’s public works director said.
