Walthall County voters elected three new supervisors and chose a new circuit clerk on Tuesday.
Republican Dan “Nut” Hawn will become the new circuit clerk after defeating Democrat Hollis Gatlin 2,702 (53%) to 2,392 (47%), replacing incumbent Vernon Alford, who lost a re-election bid in the August primary.
