A former lobbyist who grew up in McComb was sentenced Tuesday along with a former Jackson lawyer for their role in defrauding investors in a timber deal.
Former lobbyist Ted Brent Alexander, 58, of Jackson, was sentenced to serve five years probation, including two years of house arrest with electronic monitoring.
