Errant bullet enters bedroom, misses resident

A McComb resident said an errant bullet fired Wednesday night in the area near Douglas Park narrowly missed him.
The resident said he doesn’t believe he was targeted in the shooting but asked not to be identified.
He said a bullet went through his bedroom window between 9 and 9:30.

Ford resigns as city clerk on board’s last day

McComb City Clerk Elisha Ford tendered her resignation effective immediately on the final day of the outgoing city board’s term Thursday.
McComb Mayor Quordiniah Lockley made the announcement in a special meeting to approve minutes from June 24 on Thursday afternoon.

City board votes to settle EEOC complaint
