Stewart Signs came into the 11- to 12-year-old Pike County Youth Sports baseball championship on a two-game losing streak and trailed Coca-Cola 5-0 after one inning in the finals at Edgewood Park Tuesday. However, Stewart Signs came back to win 9-6 in seven innings.

Although the Atlanta Braves lost 7-3 to the Florida Marlins Sunday, they won their first home series of the season.

The Braves took two of three this weekend winning at home against the Marlins both Friday and Saturday. Atlanta won 4-2 on Friday and 7-2 on Saturday.

Quality Rental closes season with 10-2 victory

Quality Rental closed off the 11- to 12-year-old Pike County Youth Sports baseball with a 10-2 win against Keith White Ford-Lincoln at Edgewood Park Friday night.

The season came to an end for both teams after the game.
