Pike County and its southwest Mississippi neighbors escaped damage Friday when a squall line packing heavy rains, wind and severe thunderstorms passed through the region.
Civil Defense directors in Pike, Amite, Franklin and Walthall counties said they received no reports of damage as the line passed through.
