Sheriff: Terrell says he shot Courtney

Two witnesses said Chris Terrell admitted to shooting his girlfriend Tina Courtney, and a third said he overheard Terrell explain what happened to two law enforcement officers as the state opened its case against Terrell Wednesday in Amite County Circuit Court.

Terrell, 42, is charged with murder in Courtney’s death.

Questions linger in Walthall woman’s death
