Street fighting man: Bowsky unhappy with Higgins Drive plan

Despite years of pushing for a stretch of Higgins Drive to be paved, Pike County Supervisor Tazwell Bowsky opposed a measure to do just that on Thursday.

Board: Lodge project still a go

As far as the Pike County Board of Supervisors is concerned, the Shale Lodge oil workers camp in the new Gateway Industrial Park is on track.

The board is waiting for developer Aries Building Systems to officially close on the housing lot.

Industrial park bids lower than expected

There’s good news for McComb officials regarding the Gateway Industrial Park sewer project — infrastructure work will be nearly $200,000 cheaper than first anticipated.

Pike County is responsible for running a sewer line to the Gateway park on Wardlaw Road.
