Federal judge and area timber manager Keith Starrett said Hurricane Katrina taught him a lesson: “The stronger the wind, the stronger the wood.”
That translates to today’s struggling economy, too, he told Mississippi Association Conservation Districts members at the group’s summer meeting Tuesday at Percy Quin State Park.
