Split vote cast on museum measure

A name change at the McComb Railroad Depot Museum passed by a hair during Tuesday McComb city board meeting.

On the heels of a $35,000 donation, the Rotary Club wanted to change the museum’s Pike Room to the Rotary Tourism Room.

The name change was approved 3-2.

Confessed clown comes clean

“McClown” captivated some in the McComb community for a week. After all, a mysterious clown being photographed around town is bound to raise a few eyebrows.

Some welcomed the clown mystery, others suspected McClown had sinister intentions. But the man behind the costume said he was only trying to provide a little Halloween fun.

The K106 DJ confirmed on the air this morning the rumors that he was behind the appearances of a clown that has been photographed wandering the streets of McComb for the past week.
