The Southwest Mississippi Community College Lady Bears withstood a furious second-half rally from the visiting East Central Lady Warriors to come away with a 76-60 conference victory Monday night.
The Southwest men, however, were not as fortunate. They dropped a 54-50 decision to their counterparts from Decatur.
