A Pike County sheriff’s deputy fired his weapon Wednesday at a man whose alleged drug paraphernalia tucked in his waistband was mistaken for a gun barrel.
Sheriff Wally Jones said a deputy spotted Shane Cooper driving in the Progress community and tried to pull Cooper over because he knew he had outstanding warrants.
