MHS to induct three into Hall of Fame: Homecoming week buzzes with activities

The McComb School District will induct three members to the McComb High School’s Hall of Fame during homecoming week Nov. 2 through 6.

Dr. Karen Crews, Dr. Edward Collins and Pastor Robert Vick will be inducted in ceremonies at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Tiger Activity Complex on Louisiana Avenue.

Angel Tree program readies for holidays

The Salvation Army McComb Corps is gearing up for its annual Angel Tree Christmas assistance campaign.

This year, the McComb Corps — serving Pike, Amite, Walthall, Lincoln and Lawrence counties — is joining the Salvation Army worldwide by teaming up with JC Penney’s to offer online Angel Tree adoptions.
