South Pike school trustees adopted a $17.2 million 2010-11 budget on Thursday, and they’ve learned that the district’s grant application for a school improvement plan didn’t make the cut.
The new budget is more than $1 million less than this year’s and calls for more local tax money to help make up for a loss in state funds.
