Getting ready to Shuffle

The annual Shuffle to the Chefs fundraiser for St. Andrew’s Mission is drawing near, and chefs for the event have been announced.

The shuffle, set for Jan. 26, will be held at the homes of Steve and Robbi Cox, Tommy and Jane Walman and Noggin and Beth Wild.

Surgical robot arrives at SMRMC

Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center received a special delivery on Thursday with the arrival of the long awaited da Vinci robotic surgical system.

The robotic equipment is set up in an operating room at the Cardiovascular Institute of Mississippi.

Classic Cookie, one of the original shops in McComb’s Edgewood Mall, has new owners, and they’ve already begun putting their signature stamp on the business.

Charles and C.J. Nason bought the sweets shop in October, and changes came quickly.
