Otken principal fired on Tuesday

Otken Elementary School principal Camita Dillon has been relieved of her duties, effective immediately.

Dillon confirmed that she received a letter of dismissal on Tuesday afternoon from McComb Superintendent Dr. Cederick Ellis informing her she was fired.

The North Pike Scene Stealers are limbering up for their 12th annual drama production this week as they present “Once Upon a High School.”

Showtime is 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and for the first time they’ll be in the Hurst Auditorium at Southwest Mississippi Community College.
