The 12-year-old Dixie Youth baseball all-stars have been battling time and the weather in order to prepare for the district tournament, which begins Friday, June 23, in Brookhaven.
In a deviation from years past, there is only one 12-year-old all-star team because of a drop in teams from the last several years.
