Board OKs bid for Gateway road

Pike County supervisors accepted a bid Thursday to build a gravel access road through the new Gateway Industrial Park.

T.L. Wallace of Columbia was the lowest of four bidders at $267,794.

The mile-long road will connect Wardlaw Road to Airport-Fernwood Road.
