A special judge has been appointed to handle the case of a Pike County sheriff’s deputy indicted for manslaughter.
The Mississippi Supreme Court appointed Judge Frank Vollor of Vicksburg to preside over the case of Lt. Terry Beadles, 35, who was indicted in the March 15 shooting death of Troy Boyd, 35, of Jayess, on McEwen Swamp Road.
