An Amite County man is in custody for allegedly kidnapping his 3-year-old daughter from Louisiana.

Mississippi Highway Patrol issued an Amber alert Sunday afternoon for 3-year-old Paizley Fontenot of Ville Platte after she was allegedly taken by her father Brandon Phillip Fontenot, who does not have custody of her.

McComb teen jailed in Liberty robbery

Liberty police on Friday charged a 14-year-old from McComb in connection with a robbery of the Liberty Dollar General store.

Davian Grady is charged as an adult with armed robbery and conspiracy to commit armed robbery.

Grady allegedly used an assault rifle in the Friday night holdup, Sheriff Tim Wroten said.
